First and foremost, I’d like to say hi! My name is AJ Archer, and I am proudly the first male writer for College Style. I currently study journalism and romance languages at the University of Georgia, where I am an editor at The Red & Black, the university’s independent newspaper. I have a profound interest in foreign languages, European cultures and, most importantly, kittens.
I can absolutely appreciate the high-end products of prominent designers, but I tend to struggle with appreciating the price. To combat this, I have developed a love for scrounging around thrift stores and finding little hidden treasures, including a teal Christian Dior sweater, multiple Members Only jackets and a pair of dark-brown dress shoes by Cole Haan.
In the future, I would like to be the editor of some form of publication. I enjoy expressing myself through the art of writing, but I prefer to criticize the work of others. Whether I edit a newspaper, magazine or online publication, I simply want to strive for success and happiness in my career — and I think that’s all anyone can ask for.
