Hello, guys and gals. I’m Lori. I’ve just finished my first year at the University of Georgia and I’m studying to pursue a career in writing, with a dual-degree in journalism and French. I’ve always been interested in fashion and the elements of decorating and design, so I’m hoping to give my zeal for style and art an outlet through my participation in this site. Growing up in a pretty big family and living on a college budget, I have learned the basics of being thrifty and achieving unique style with just a little bit of ingenuity and independent effort. My style has more of a classic feel and is not distinctly trendy or confined to any era or look. I believe in the French aesthetic of clothes with classic elegance, but functionality. I look to icons, old and new, like Françoise Hardy, Audrey Hepburn, Alexa Chung, and Phoebe Philo of Céline. I hope that you will be inspired by my tips and by the style and decorating trends, which in turn, inspire me.
